The anticipation for the International German Gymnastics Festival 2025 is growing: from May 28th to June 1st, Leipzig becomes a home of sports enthusiasts from all over the world. This year the city is taking a significant position, not only as a sports facility, but as a center of the community, which is brought together by sport.

The gymnastics festival is much more than just a competition - it offers a platform that promotes the exchange between participants and spectators. The event expects about 80,000 active athletes and numerous guests who will take part in various workshops, participation offers and traditional competitions. This diversity not only addresses competitive athletes, but also width and recreational athletes and makes the gymnastics a unique experience.

The accreditation has been open to media representatives since March 3, 2025 and remains available until May 12, 2025. Interested journalists can register via the media area on the official website of the gymnastics festival. This possibility not only opens up access to the competitions, but also to the numerous events that accompany the sporting goings -on in Leipzig.
