In the next few years, several daycare centers are to be renovated in the southeastern urban area. In order to continue to ensure security of supply for young families in the future, an urgently needed interim is to be built on Thierschstrasse in Probstheida. To do this, the development plan No. 197 "Curschmannstraße Nord", which has existed since 2006.
The city's tip has now launched the corresponding change decision for the approximately 2.3 hectare area at the proposal of construction mayor Thomas Dienberg, the city council finally decides.
on the area designated in the development plan as a space for school and sport, a primary school and a sports hall went into operation in winter 2021. 6,000 square meters on the eastern edge of the area are currently still unused. For the planned facility with 165 places for crib and kindergarten children, alternative free building plots were not available in the supply room.
