Big winner show at the MDR spring awakening in Hildburghausen - live in the MDR on May 9th on May 9th

On May 9th, celebrations will be made in Hildburghausen, because the big thank you show for the sixth "MDR spring awakening" takes place in Thuringia. The live event will broadcast the MDR television from 8:15 p.m. Artists such as Vincent Gross, Nik P., Sonia Liebing, Olaf Berger, Karat, Semino Rossi and many more will perform on the market square of Hildburghausen. The show will then be available for 30 days in the ARD Mediathek.
Volunteers participated in the big spring cleaning to beautify their places. In addition to Schneeberg and Bad Schmiedeberg, Hildburghausen were also involved in this year's “MDR spring awakening”. These places have received a new health center, a playground and a BMX training route. Through a public vote, Hildburghausen was named the winner with 43.5 percent.
The unique sense of community that was created during work assignments was emphasized by many volunteers involved. The accompanying MDR reporting for the campaign enjoyed above-average visual participation, especially in the younger target group between 30 and 39 years. The high relevance of the live pre-on-site campaign for people in Central Germany was confirmed online and the ARD media library and the high participation in voting.
As a thank you for the many volunteers and residents, the MDR organizes a large entertainment show in Hildburghausen, moderated by Peter Imhof and Christin Stark.
