Top -class world premiere: Helgoland 513 starts in Berlin with star cast

The Sky original series "Helgoland 513" recently celebrated its world premiere in Berlin. The top -class production, directed by Robert Schwentke, presents a dystopian world in which the survivors of an apocalypse on the German island of Helgoland are fighting for their lives. The series, produced by UFA Fiction on behalf of Sky Studios, will be shown exclusively at Sky and at the streaming service WoW from March 15. A prominently occupied ensemble of actors such as Alexander Fehling, Martina Gedeck and Antje Traue is the focus of the tension -charged action.

The action of "Helgoland 513" promises excitement and intrigue, while the inhabitants of the island fight for scarce resources and survival. The series shows a totalitarian society that controls each of the 513 residents on the island. While internal conflicts are boiling, an external group also threatens the fragile community.

Production follows strict minimum standards and was shot in Berlin, Hamburg, Sylt and Amrum. Thanks to the funding from the Berlin-Brandenburg media board, the Moin Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein and the German Motion Picture Fonds (GMPF), the series is broadcast in all Sky markets in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, UK and Ireland. NBCuniversal Global Distribution is responsible for global sales rights.

"Helgoland 513" is another high quality production from UFA Fiction, which has already convinced with successful formats such as "Deutschland83/86/89" and "Charité". The series offers a captivating action in a dark future vision and promises the audience a gripping serial experience.
