Leipziger can participate - City of Leipzig

They are noise and fine dust filters, cold air corridors, temperature lowering, biotope composite and, last but not least, living space for many animals such as insects, bats and birds, but also places of encounter, nature experiences and relaxation. To promote and preserve biodiversity, parks and green areas are increasingly cared for natural, flower strips are created and walls and roofs are greened, taking into account different requirements.

Start -up promotion

The city offers funding and free seeds from the Leipzig Gründach mix for the construction of its own green roof.

Whether on your own flower meadow or in the park - in the Diversity project project, everyone is called to count and identify butterflies. There are registration forms, the link to the app and numerous educational materials for young and old www.vielfaltergarten.de.
