Start of the road renewal of Weststrasse in Markranstädt: full closure from August 14th

REASION OF S 77/Weststrasse in Markranstädt

On Monday, August 14, the work for the road renovation of the S 77/Weststrasse in Markranstädt will begin on behalf of the LasUV branch in Leipzig. The renewal area extends over a length of around 560 meters and begins behind the access to the garden club "Anton Vockert e. V." towards Großlehna.

scope of the work

As part of the work, the asphalt deck layer is completely replaced in the entire renewal area. In addition, the asphalt binder layer is also partially replaced. After completing the construction work, the roadway will receive the required marking. The construction work is expected to be completed at the end of August.

full closure and redirection

The implementation of all construction work is carried out under full closure. A detour is set up for traffic towards Großlehna. The detour leads from Markranstädt on the B 186 towards Dölzig, further on the K 7963 and via Altranstädt back to the S 77. In the opposite direction, traffic is redirected.

financing

The construction costs for this project amount to around 100,000 euros. The Free State of Saxony with tax funds, based on the budget decided by the Saxon state parliament.
