A cigarette machine was blown up in Leipzig on Thursday morning around 2:40 a.m. in Leipzig on Lene-Voigt-Straße. The crime occurred in the middle of a residential area. An unknown perpetrator destroyed the machine with the help of a pyrotechnic object.
The force of the explosion was so strong that parts of the cigarette machine were even several meters away. The perpetrator stole cash, but the exact height of the theft is still unknown. It is also unclear whether the suspect also stolen cigarette boxes.
The Leipzig criminal police secured traces at the scene and has started an investigation into the introduction of an explosive explosion. Currently, the levels of styles and property damage are not yet known.
