Mälzer Versus Klein: The most spectacular cooking duel of the year!

Salzburg, Österreich - On May 11, 2025, the third episode of the 10th anniversary relay of "Kitchen Impossible" will be broadcast on VOX. In this exciting episode, the popular TV chef Tim Mälzer competes against the French 2-star chef Martin Klein. Mälzer, who has been in front of the camera at Vox since December 2003, shows his tireless ambition and the strong will to win the competition in this duel. One reason for Mälzer to put up with it is the chance of working as a guest chef in the renowned Hangar-7 in Salzburg.

Already in 2020 Mälzer met small in a previous duel and was able to win it for himself. This year's episode is characterized by humorous friction and an intensive competition between the two chefs. Klein even admits that it is more strenuous to work with a Mälzer in the kitchen than to take off an arm or foot. Klein, who admits that he prefers to have thrown Mälzer into the water, ensures additional humor, a statement that causes incomprehension at Mälzer, especially as small, that he throws fish back into the water while fishing.

a duel with history

The duel between Mälzer and Klein could set a new record, because both cooks provided one of the most punctual achievements in the history of "Kitchen Impossible". Mälzer, nervously accumulated by Klein's reputation as a versatile cook, scored an excellent 14.4 points after having mastered two challenging tasks in France and Bangkok. He cooked under the well-known two-star chef Olivier Nasti and with the "Asia’s Best Female Chef" Bee Satongun and was rated by the cooking legend Marc Haeberlin.

Klein, on the other hand, had to produce the best ice in Italy in Italy and came up with an impressive score of 14.1. In Spain he narrowly failed when he made two mistakes when preparing meatballs that might cost him the victory. Despite the intensive competition, both chefs would have been able to defeat each other cook in the history of the show, but in the end it was Mälzer who emerged as the winner.

an outlook on future challenges

The next episode of "Kitchen Impossible" will show another exciting duel between Tim Mälzer and Steffen Henssler, which will be broadcast on March 16 in advance at TVNow and on March 22nd at 8:15 p.m. at VOX. The current episode is already available on RTL+.
