Fire in the empty building: Police investigated arson!

On Monday evening, April 14, at around 6:32 p.m., a fire broke out in an empty building on Düsseldorfer Straße/Engelbertstraße. The fire brigade and police Duisburg were quickly on site to extinguish the flames. Düsseldorfer Straße in the direction of Buchholz had to be closed during the extinguishing work. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.

The public prosecutor's office Duisburg currently evaluates the fire as an arson and asks the population for help. Witnesses who have made suspicious observations are asked to report to the criminal commissioner 11 on 0203 2800.
