Fire in Hanover: woman from burning apartment saved!

On Friday evening, the Hanover fire brigade was alerted to an apartment fire in Podbielskistrasse. The emergency call was discontinued around 9:30 p.m., and immediately two fire trucks from the professional fire brigade, the Groß Buchholz volunteer fire brigade and the emergency services moved out. Flying flames from an apartment on the 4th floor of an apartment building, and smoke was clearly visible.

Thanks to the lightning-fast intervention of the emergency services, a 46-year-old woman who was missing in the smoky apartment was quickly found and saved. At the same time, the fire was quickly brought under control with a deletion tube. The seriously injured woman immediately received medical care and was transported to a Hanoverian clinic. A total of around 45 emergency services with 18 vehicles were on site to master the situation and prevent the fire from spreading.
