Shocking accident in Wedel: Two women die, several injured!

On Saturday afternoon, May 10, 2025, a tragic traffic accident between two cars occurred on the state road 105 at Wedel. At around 2:50 p.m., a Mitsubishi small car bounced together with a Hyundai i20. Unfortunately, the 86-year-old Mitsubishi driver from Halstenbek and a passenger from Pinneberg still succumbed to her serious injuries at the scene of the accident. Another passenger from Pinneberg is also in the hospital with serious injuries.

In the second vehicle, a 30-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman from Wedel were seriously injured. Fire brigade, emergency services and police were deployed with a large contingent, including a rescue helicopter that took one of the injuries to a hospital. The two vehicles were worthy of around 25,000 euros. Because of the operational measures, the road had to be closed for over three hours.
