Niederdorf, Sachsen, Deutschland - Nostalgia for classic automobiles has season again in Lower Saxony. On April 15, 2025, this year's series of classic car events in northern Germany officially started. The first big event, the classic car festival in Bremen, took place at the end of January and thus started the numerous meetings that follow.

These events often offer a colorful supporting program with live music, parts and classic car markets, parades and demonstrations. Prices for the most beautiful vehicles are often part of the program, which also reinforces the competitive atmosphere. For example, on April 27, a large classic car meeting with around 700 vehicles and a children's program will take place on April 27th.

Einbeck classic car day and other highlights

Especially the Einbeck classic car days, which take place from July 4th to 6th, are a magnet for visitors. With the largest classic car collection in Europe and a classic car rally, thousands of spectators are expected here. There is also a lot to see in Celle on August 10, where up to 30,000 guests are expected, while the classic car meeting in Winsen will present over 1000 vehicles and a parts market on August 16 and 17.

For classic car enthusiasts there is also the classic car museum Culitzsch in Niederdorf, Saxony. This museum, founded by the Schulze family, shows around 50 vehicles, mostly from GDR times. Visitors can get an insight into the history and anecdotes of the vehicles, which are often in unrested condition. The museum opens its doors from May 3 to November 9, 2025, Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and has regulated admission prices: adults pay 8 euros, children 4 euros, and children under the age of 6 have free admission.

Overall, the classic car season in Lower Saxony promises a varied program that not only inspires lovers of classic automobiles, but also offers families an entertaining leisure activities. The events, combined with charming museums, lift the fascination for classic cars to a new level.
