On the evening of April 12, 2025, a dramatic accident occurred in Dermbach during a barbecue party. A group of friends sat comfortably around a fire bowl when a 20-year-old man added burner spirit. Suddenly a dangerous flame of the legs and spread to the clothing of a 29-year-old woman, which led to severe burns second.

suspect and injuries were immediately taken to a hospital. The young woman had to be flown to a special clinic in Halle with a rescue helicopter to be treated there. The police started the investigation while the celebration was converted into a nightmare.
