A 25-year-old Moroccan is the focus of the police after stealing the wallet to a 41-year-old German during a train journey between Fürth and Sonneberg in November last year. The theft occurred when the victim briefly let his backpack out of his eyes, and not only brought financial losses of around 170 euros, but also a number of annoying authorities.

Thanks to the video recording of the incident in the railway, the investigators were able to identify the initially unknown perpetrator. The Federal Police Inspection Erfurt announced that the thief will soon have to expect a criminal complaint.
