Sömmerda, Deutschland - A 55-year-old man from the Sömmerda district has been the victim of a sneaky investment fraud! On a social media platform, he was made aware of tempting investment opportunities in cryptocurrencies and quickly let himself be bait. After registering, so -called "brokers" contacted him and promised sky -high profits. At first the man transferred 250 euros to a foreign account, but the fraudsters remained greedy and urged him to invest more and more. A total of over 2,300 euros disappeared into the pockets of the crooks!

When the 55-year-old was waiting for his alleged profits, he realized that he had been cheated. On Tuesday morning, he immediately filed a complaint with the police. The Erfurt State Police Inspection urgently warns of such machinations: payments to foreign accounts should only be made after careful examination. Do not be put under pressure - serious providers do not require rushed decisions or high deposits!
