on Sunday, March 9, 2025, there was a brutal assault on a 20-year-old Greizerin at the Friedensbrücke around 12:00 p.m. Suddenly the young woman was attacked by an unknown man, harassed and pounded on the upper body several times with a plastic bottle. The attacker was slightly injured.

The perpetrator, a man of the estimated age of 40 to 50 years with blonde hair, was on the road with a backpack and a shopping bag and was able to flee undetected after the attack. The Greiz police have initiated the investigation and is urgently looking for witnesses who can provide information on the incident.
