In a shocking crime history, an unknown perpetrator struck in an apartment building on Goethestrasse last year and looted several cellar compartments. The list of his thefts is long: food, cosmetics, electrical appliances and jewelry with a total value of around 1,400 euros - that was his prey!

The officers of a 44-year-old man who dates from Latvia were able to track down the Arnstadt-Eilmenau police inspection. He is suspected of being responsible not only in this case, but also for several similar crimes. Now the alleged thief is in a correctional facility and is waiting for his upcoming trial.
