In the early Monday evening, a 33-year-old man from Weimar was victims of a brazen bicycle theft. With a friend he took a walk at the end of Schwanseestrasse and secured his expensive e-bike, a light gray cube stereo hybrid worth over 5,000 euros, at a fence gate. But when the couple returned after about an hour, the bike had disappeared without a trace - the broken castle was the only sign of the crime at the scene. The police in Jena are now investigating due to the insolent theft.
