On February 21, 2025, the parking lot of a shopping center on Rodaer Straße in Hermsdorf was brazen. Unknown perpetrators stole six plates of a dismantled modular ice rink, each of which is 2 m² in size. The theft occurred after the plates were stored in the southern area of ​​the parking lot.

The Saale-Holzland police are now looking for witnesses who can provide information on the incident or the unknown perpetrators. Due to the size of the prey, a vehicle like a trailer or a loading area seems to have been necessary for the output.
