In the early morning hours of today, at 3:45 a.m., two hooded burglars were caught in the Wielandstraße in Apolda in the act. The two men had gained access to an apartment building when attentive residents noticed them and immediately called the police. Thanks to the lightning -fast reaction of the officials, it was possible to grasp the perpetrators shortly after the slump.

When checking the suspects, the police secured a backpack with burglary tool under a parked vehicle. In addition, a drug test showed that both men reacted positively to amphetamine.
