Two centuries of Hohenheim: Innovation and research in focus!

Today, on April 15, 2025, the University of Hohenheim looks back on an eventful story of over 200 years. The origin of the university goes back to 1818 when an agricultural attempt was founded in Hohenheim. In the field of food research, Louisa Wötzel was awarded the 1st place of the 2025 WIG program for her master's thesis to reduce acrylamide in baked goods. Her work was created in the field of plant food under the direction of Prof. Dr. Mario Jekle.
