Men's singing club Heede dissolves - but the melodies continue to live!

The men's singing club Heede unanimously decided to dissolve during its latest general assembly. Despite this drastic decision, which recorded three abstentions, the members continue to discuss possible ways to continue singing in the future. Wilhelm Leymann was recently honored for 70 years of singing, while Heinrich Lehmann was awarded board work for ten years. Unfortunately, only a few singers can take part in the rehearsals, which led to the decline in the performance options.

choir director Danilo Sodogé emphasized the need to find a solution to maintain singing. Suggestions such as the establishment of a "singing group" or participation in the men's singing club in Brockum, where some Heeder singers could also be active under Sodogé, are up for debate. Despite the resolution, the association plans to work until the last day this year and organize a last Christmas concert on December 18.
