on Sunday, October 13th, a violent storm raged over Lower Saxony and left some devastating damage. In Vechta, the roof of the district house was significantly damaged by a tornado, which formed directly above the administration. The fire brigade and technical relief organization arrived to secure the roof and remove debris. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the resumption of the company for the citizens remains uncertain.

In the district of Diepholz, further storm damage caused excitement: a 15 meter long sheet metal garage was torn from its anchorage and thrown against a nearby building and two trees. Despite the impressive sight, there were no injuries and the damage to the house was minimal.
