In the past week, several incidents were reported in the Diepholz region, which included accidents and crimes. An incident in Syke was particularly worrying, in which a 12-year-old child was hit by an unknown vehicle on his bike. The collision, which took place on Monday evening at 6:15 p.m., occurred when the child crossed the street to the Hachepark. Another alarming incident occurred in Diepholz when an 18-year-old driver crashed into a tree. The accident passed around 10:40 p.m. in Aschener Straße, an area that has a speed limit of 40 km/h due to newly applied roller coil. The driver, together with two passengers aged 18 and 19, lost control of his vehicle, which led to minor injuries to all occupants. The vehicle damage is estimated at least 6000 euros.

Two vans were broken up on a company premises on Industriestraße, with unknown perpetrators stealing various battery tools. In another incident, two drunk drivers were pulled out of traffic by the police in the night from Monday to Tuesday. A 52-year-old man was found in Seufzerbergstrasse with 2.6 per thousand, while a 44-year-old man in Bruchhausen-Vilsen was stopped with 2 per mille and without a driver's license. Both drivers had to hand in blood samples, which clearly illustrates the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol.

In addition, a sales car on Essener Strasse was broken open on Monday. The perpetrators managed to cause considerable damage and steal two cable drums and two scales.
