From September 3, 2024, there will be considerable traffic problems on the A23 towards Heide during the nights. Between the Tornesch and Pinneberg-Mitte junctions in the Pinneberg district, the lanes are fully blocked from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. These closures are part of a comprehensive building initiative initiated by Autobahn GmbH to improve traffic safety and infrastructure.

The first construction phase primarily includes the construction of a protective device that has top priority during this night work. The responsible authorities have already set up diversions via the Pinneberg-Mitte junction in order to at least partially maintain traffic during the construction work.
