New major project in the St. Jürgen Church: Donations for Dachreiter!

On April 28, 2025, the general meeting of the St.-Jürgen church building association took place in the old pastorate. The chairman Peter Kruse reported on both closed and planned support projects. Particular attention was paid to the art objects of the St. Jürgen Church, which had to be outsourced and restored due to renovation work. The association provided a sum of 10,000 euros.

Another decision concerns the purchase of a large screen with a mobile bracket, which is to be used for events in the church and in the south -ship. 10,000 euros are also planned and already approved. The aim of this project is to broadcast services, concerts and presentations by camera in different locations in the building.

A new major project is also on the agenda: the renovation of the "small roof rider". The first cost estimates are in the lower six -digit range. The association asks for donations to finance this project, since the necessary funds cannot be covered from the membership fees.
