Cattle rescue in Itzehoe: Escape cows and cause excitement!

in Itzehoe, in the Steinburg district, there was an unusual incident on Monday morning when three cattle broke out from the site of a butcher. The animals escaped through a goal that was not closed in time, which led to a chaotic scenario in the city.

A cattle ran directly towards an employee, the head over head jumped to the side, while the other two cattle continued to escape. A beef crossed the tracks near the transport office, where it was sighted around 9 a.m. and led to traffic disruptions. In the meantime, another animal ran on Adenauerallee and entered the road several times, which stopped traffic.

The rescue of the animals was challenging: a cow fell into a ditch and landed in the water, but was brought back to the slaughterhouse after a short rescue operation.
