Sport year 2024: OSC celebrates honors and looks optimistically into the future!

On March 4, 2025, the Ostrroher Sportclub (OSC) organized its annual meeting, chaired by Helmut Wagner. In this context, Mayor Harald Sierks brought the greetings from the community and praised the close cooperation with the association. Wagner thanked the municipality for continuous support, especially for grants for construction work.

As part of the meeting, numerous members were honored for their long -term loyalty. Gabi and Achim Boldt, Rolf Ernecke, Brigitte and Manfred Johannsen as well as Uwe and Rosi Thomsen received the bronze badge of honor for 25 years. For 40 years of active engagement, Birgit Boecke, Astrid Jorbahn, Jürgen Langmaack and Mark Popp was awarded the silver badge of honor. Karin Bendschneider and Holger Reimers were honored with the golden badge of honor for 50 years of membership.

Sophie Waschnewski was recognized as a volunteer of the year because in 2024 she will take over children's gymnastics for four to six year old children. It has already brought training training and additional training in gymnastics. Hans-Jürgen von Hemm was also honored as a volunteer of the year; He organized a Nordic walking course and a star run in which over 70 participants took part. Both honored also received a voucher for recognition for their commitment.

Helmut Wagner looked back on the past sport year in his report, while treasurer Birgit Peters presented the financial report and Birgit Reinhardt presented the membership line -up with a total of 580 members. Jochen Karstens did not start to re -election, for his six -year term he received a voucher as a thank you for his work. After the election, the following people are in the responsible offices: Birgit Peters as treasurer, Reimer Schuchardt, Maren Barmwater and Uwe Thomsen as assessors and Gabi Boldt as a youth manager.

In order to strengthen the financial basis of clubs such as the OSC, membership fees are an important source of income. Regular adjustments to the needs of the association are crucial.
