Diana Wader surprises as an EM gold winner in the cattle work!

Oboriste, Tschechien - Diana Wader booked a fabulous success when she was participating in the European Championships in the “Working Equitation” equity discipline. The 39-year-old from Monheim, who has only been riding for five years and has been working as a hobbyist, won the bronze medal in dressage with the German team and secured gold in the royal discipline, the cattle work. Wader and her horse “Toni” had prepared themselves excellently despite a training ban before the competition, which was conditioned by her trainer Nicola Danner.

in dressage Wader took 14th place and, together with her team, ensured a total grade of 352 points, which finally led to fourth place in the overall ranking. In the specialized beef work, however, Wader excellently cut off and helped the German team to leave the competition behind and win the gold medal. The cooperation and skillful hustle and bustle of the cattle were celebrated as a small sensation. Diana Wader is now looking forward to the 2026 World Cup in Jerez and has the goal of participating again with her heart horse "Toni".
