Duathlon in Deining: Young people show fighting spirit and achieve triumph!

The youth competition series 2024 of the Bavarian Triathlon Association (BTV) found its crowning conclusion during the duathlon in Deining. The series, consisting of various competition formats such as Swim & Runs and triathlons, demanded the athletes all year round. In the students B (born in 2013/2014), Quinn Ellrich started to catch up after a fall and secured victory. Jana Graf fought himself into the top ten despite the difficult route conditions. In the area of students A, Laura Reinsch was allowed to end her first cross-duathlon as 11th. In youth B (2009/2010), Nina Mayer achieved an impressive 2nd place and thus secured the title of the Bavarian runner-up in cross-duathlon. Joel Westphal took 10th place. Julia Weiland and Elisabeth Haupt also convinced in youth A (2007/2008), with Julia being run the runner -up with a strong run. Elisabeth ended the competition in a solid 4th place.
