Dramatic collision: Two racing cyclists injured in the event of an accident!
On Wednesday afternoon, there was a fateful collision between a driver and two racing cyclists on the Flaesheimer Damm. In the incident that occurred around 2:10 p.m., the 61-year-old driver from Essen became careless at the "Westruper Heide" parking lot and collided with the two cyclists, a 64-year-old from Lünen and a 66-year-old from Dortmund. While the cyclists got away with minor injuries, the driver suffered a shock.
Probably from the force of the impact, a side window of the car broke to a break, and the damage to the vehicle amounts to an estimated 3,000 euros. The exact amount of the damage on the racing bikes is currently unclear, but both cyclists wore helmets at the time of the accident, which may prevent worse injuries. Details of this incident are still sparse, but reports www.presseportal.de has.
