Cold cases in Dortmund: Justice is making murmers ahead!

Dortmund, Deutschland - Dortmund's investigation group "Cold Case" has brought fresh wind into two unresolved murder cases. At a press conference on October 30, 2024, the police management and the public prosecutor presented the latest developments. In two old cases, a suspect was recently determined and arrested. It is the murders of Heike Kötting, which was found stabbed in Dortmund-Scharnhorst in 1991, and Josef Milata, the 67-year-old, who was discovered dead in Bergkamen in his house.

The charges were raised against a 60-year-old Dortmund and a 62-year-old Mönchengladbacher, and the 56-year-old suspect from Bergkamen was arrested in April. Despite these progress, there are still unresolved cases, including the mysterious murder of eleven -year -old Marc Gutte, whose body was found in Unna in 1986.
