Electricity in ICE: Investigations after dangerous incident!
In a dramatic incident in an ICE train on the route from Hamburg to Munich, a 31-year-old man suffered a dangerous electric shock at the weekend. Witnesses report that shortly before arriving at the Dortmund main station, he took a socket between two seats and immediately felt a blow in the entire body. Thanks to the quick response of fellow travelers who informed the train staff, and a doctor present on the train who carried out first aid measures, the man was stabilized. When he arrived in Dortmund, he was immediately taken to a hospital.
The police discovered metal pins in the socket, which obviously came from a broken travel adapter. Now it is checked whether the expiry of the incident was deliberately. The investigation is in full swing, while the train travelers witnessed the dramatic Situation up close. Further information on this event can be found in a report by www1.wdr.de .
