Dresden: Last Pegida demo triggers massive police investigations
Dresden, Deutschland - In Dresden, the last “Pegida” demonstration initially took place, and the police have already initiated investigations against several participants. They are accused of having used unconstitutional organizations. The police directorate made this statement on Sunday evening after the controversial rally, in which around 1,000 people allegedly took part.
The counter -protest was also represented, with around 1,000 participants who mobilized to oppose the elevator. Against some of these demonstrators are investigated because they are accused of having insulted participants of the "Pegida" assembly. Another investigation into a violation of the meeting law is directed against masked demonstrators of the counter -protest. Around 270 police officers were deployed, who bounded both events on the Dresden Neumarkt.
