DSC volleyball players celebrate sixth victory and conquer the top of the table!

Dresden, Deutschland - Dresden. The DSC volleyball players defeated VfB Suhl 3-0 (25:23, 25:22, 25:20) on Wednesday evening before 2,743 enthusiastic spectators in the Margon-Arena and thus celebrated their sixth victory in the sixth game. In doing so, they conquered the lead after the German champion Stuttgart surprisingly lost to Potsdam. "It was not a game with shine and Gloria. But still clearly won," said coach Alexander Waibl.

Before the Ost derby, a chaos around the season caused excitement, since VfB Suhl arrived late and requested a shift in the start of the game. The volleyball league initially took place, but rowed back when the DSC intervened. The game finally started on time. Despite the initial nervousness and some mistakes, the hosts settled in the decisive third set and transformed the first match ball after 82 minutes. Marta Levinska was the best player in the game with 24 points, while Libera Patricia Nestler surprisingly received the MVP medal. Further information can be found here .
