Feuerinferno on the highway: truck trailer in flames - driver unharmed

Traffic disorder by truck brandy on the Autobahn

An unfortunate event occurred on the Autobahn 4 towards Dresden, as a truck fan follower in flames . Fortunately, the driver remained unharmed while his trailer burned down completely.

The fire brigade and the police were quickly on site to extinguish the fire and ensure the safety of the commuters. The highway had to be temporarily closed, which led to significant delays in traffic towards Dresden.

After hours of intensive work, the right lane could be reopened, which restored the normal flow of traffic. Nevertheless, the damage was considerable and are estimated at around 60,000 euros. The exact cause of the fire is currently still being examined by the authorities.

The incident occurred near the junction between Eisenach-West and Eisenach-Ost in Thuringia. The sudden blocking of the highway led to long traffic jams and inconvenience for the commuters.

It remains to be hoped that such incidents can be avoided in the future in order to ensure security and the smooth flow of traffic on our motorways.
