Eight active members of the ** Group 77 ** - a self -help group for addicted to addiction and addicts - traveled to the breathtaking city ** Dresden ** to take part in the festive ** network meeting **. A highlight that puts addicts from the Barsinghausen region in contact with friendly self-help groups from Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. An exchange that lasts over two decades that not only promises joy, but also important insights!

The meeting took place in the impressive ** parish hall ** on the ** garrison church **, where the participants could go on exploration during the conference break. Valuable experiences and knowledge were shared under the motto "Abstinence in old age". ** Rüdiger Seidel **, the 1st chairman of Group 77, emphasized the immense importance of such network meetings. "The exchange with others is the key to strengthening all self -help groups in the area," says Seidel.

It was not just a meeting, but a happy reunion! This year the ** SHG Balance Dresden ** was the proud hostess and also welcomed the self -help group from Barsinghausen's twin town, ** Wurzen **. After 22 years of learning and growing together, these meetings focus on teamwork and mutual support. Participants reported that the time was simply too short to discuss all the big and small imponderables of life!

The members took the opportunity to admire the ** sights ** from Dresden, including the majestic ** Frauenkirche ** and the impressive ** Semperoper **. "There is so much to see and I never thought that time goes away so quickly!"
