Wienerwald celebrates comeback: New restaurants and to-go concepts in sight!

The legendary restaurant chain "Wienerwald" celebrates its comeback and opens a new restaurant in the Harz! After years of decline in which the chain had to register three times and most local closed in 2010, it is now going uphill. The first redesigned "Wienerwald" restaurant has already opened its doors and, in addition to the classic grill chicken, also offers vegetarian and vegan options. Other locations in cities such as Dresden, Hildesheim and Bielefeld are planned.

But that's not all! "Wienerwald" also launches an innovative to-go concept called "Wienerwald Roadrunner". Here the best dishes can be offered in a compact format to take away, ideal for heavily frequented places such as petrol stations and airports. Managing Director Thies Borch-Madsen announced that a total of twelve locations in Germany should be opened with this new concept. “Wienerwald” is thus positioning itself as a strong brand for transport catering and plans to further expand through cooperation and franchise solutions.
