Charging in Voerde: Police hold 50-year-olds in the act!

On Wednesday afternoon, a 50-year-old suspected shoplifter was caught in Voerde. Around 12:30 p.m., an employee of a food market on Bahnhofstrasse watched the man put coffee packs in his backpack, while he only paid other goods at the cash register. When he wanted to leave the market, he was stopped by the employee.

The alarmed police arrested the suspect. After a consultation with the Duisburg public prosecutor's office, the 50-year-old is now presented to a judge in an accelerated procedure. Further information can be found can be read here .
