Hamburg. This next Saturday, the Eimsbüttel sports club ETV will be transformed into a center for fun, movement and discoveries for the whole family. The family day, which takes place on August 31, promises a varied program for young and old.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors can look forward to numerous attractions and activities that are offered in the association's softball court. This day is not only a wonderful opportunity to make bargains on the family flea market, but also to take part in the exciting children's Olympics. A special highlight: Even people who are not a member of the ETV are welcome.

The event offers numerous hands-on hours, including a bouncy castle, a painting station and a make-up station that are specially set up for the little guests. The children's flea market, which lasts from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will have over 60 stalls this year. Families can find everything the children's heart desires here - from toys to children's clothing. And to breastfeed the stomach growl, there will also be a diverse gastronomic offer that takes care of the physical well -being.

Another exciting element of the day is the preliminary competition of the children's Olympics, which will be held in the large hall from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. All children of the years 2014 to 2019 are invited to compete against each other in a course. This is an exciting test in which different movement tasks have to be solved under time pressure. It is important to mention that membership in the ETV is not necessary for this, which makes competition particularly accessible.

Talent search for the future

The small “Olympic champion” of each year awaits a very special event: on September 22nd at the Hamburg final in the athletics hall in Alsterdorf, they will meet the fastest children of other top sports clubs. The children's Olympiad is not just an entertaining competition; It also offers an excellent opportunity for talent seal. The participants who successfully cut off in the final are invited to a talent test and can qualify for a regular talent promotion group of the Hamburg Sports Association (HSB).

It should be emphasized that the ETV houses an eight talent -promoting groups in the city. These groups are responsible for the development of young sports talents in Hamburg and help promote the next stars in sport. The family day is not only an opportunity for fun and games, but also an opportunity to discover and support the sporting talents of the children.

Another advantage for interested visitors: If you become a member of the ETV that day, you can save the one -time admission fee of 24.60 euros. The studio recording fee of EUR 74.40 is also eliminated for everyone who takes the step into the ETV studio on Saturday.
