Armed assault to Krefeld school: man threatens students!

On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, an armed incident caused excitement in front of the Kurt Tucholsky Comprehensive School in Krefeld! Witnesses alerted the police when a 21-year-old man hit passers-by with a knife and hit a student. The situation escalated when the perpetrator pulled out the knife because some brave witnesses intervened. But the man could not be stopped and initially fled.

Only a short time later the police were able to arrest the suspect on Scharfstraße. The young man was instructed to a psychiatric clinic, while the injured student only hit slight injuries. The police are now investigating dangerous bodily harm, threat and insult, while school operations continued undisturbed. The situation remains tense, but the quick reaction from the police prevented worse!
