Bloody discussion in Monheim: Police holds a knife!

in Monheim am Rhein there was a dramatic incident on Saturday evening when the police arrested a 45-year-old man who slightly injured a 33-year-old opponent after a dispute with a knife. The suspect was in a strongly alcoholic state and showed traces of blood on his clothing.

Originally, no injured person could be found on site, which stimulated the officials for an extensive search with a police helicopter and a passenger dog. Finally it turned out that the suspect had a breath alcohol value of around 2.8 per thousand. In order to prevent further possible crimes, he spent the night in police custody while a procedure was initiated against him.
