Influence of drugs at the wheel: Cologne Audi driver with drugs and stolen goods!
On Tuesday evening, April 15, the Cologne police arrested a 32-year-old driver who was under the influence of drugs. The man was observed how he drove his Audi A4 in snake lines on Autobahn 57 towards Cologne. An attentive witness reported the dangerous driving behavior. When the officers met the driver at the Cologne-Ez rest area, it turned out that the vehicle's license plates were registered as stolen.
The police found a considerable amount of drugs, including cannabis, amphetamine and ecstasy, as well as various sales utensils. In addition, the officers discovered a knife, a hammer and several screwdrivers in the interior of the vehicle. The driver, who was traveling without a valid driver's license, was brought to the police station, where a blood sample was arranged. The investigation is ongoing and it is checked whether the man is also connected to a cigarette machine blast on Cologne-Poll on April 13th.Details | |
