Wrong robbery: 19-year-old arrested, police are looking for a victim!

Heide, Deutschland - A 19-year-old man from Heide alarmed the police and reported a robbery, which, however, turned out to be a failed attempted fraud. The young man had chosen the emergency call on Tuesday evening and claimed to have been threatened by three men with a knife to blackmail cash and his smartphone. But his contradictory statements quickly aroused suspicion among the investigators.

After further investigations, it turned out that no robbery had taken place. Rather, the 19-year-old had tried to sell the men a fake branded smartphone that he had offered through a classified ad portal. During a search of his apartment, the police discovered another fake smartphone. Now the young man is shown because of pretending a crime, tried serious fraud and violations of the brand law. After his identification treatment, he was released. The police asks possible victims to report.
