Large control in Altona: Federal Police chases weapons in public transport!

Bahnhof Altona, Hamburg, Deutschland - The Federal Police Inspection Hamburg and the Hamburg State Police carried out massive use of violence prevention and control of weapons in local public transport around Altona train station on March 11, 2025. From 2:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., over 400 people were checked to prevent them from carrying out dangerous objects and to set a clear sign against weapons in rail traffic.

The result impressed: 12 objects were ensured, including 8 knives, 2 pepper sprays and 2 impact rings. There were also 5 criminal charges for drug and residence law violations and suspected money laundering. There were also 4 search goals that indicate criminal investigations.
