Young people with a knife on foray: Police arrest 14-year-old!

A 14-year-old boy made a large police operation in Hungen on Saturday. Around 2:10 p.m., concerned citizens alerted the police because the hooded one ran through the city center with a knife and stabbed trees. Fortunately, no people were actively threatened. Emergency services were able to quickly find the young people in the street in the art and take custody without resistance. The boy was apparently in a mental state of emergency and was brought to a psychiatric facility - there were no injuries.

A little later, around 4.45 p.m., there was a fight between five to six people at Lindenplatz. Some involved fled the police before arriving. Three men at the scene reported that they were beaten by “Arabs”. Although the exact circumstances of the argument remain unclear, a jacket was stolen in the incident. The police are looking for witnesses to obtain further information.
