Young thieves in Oberberg: stolen pizza delivery cars and food!

On Sunday evening, March 23, a blue Opel Corsa was stolen in Engelskirchen, while employees of a pizzeria were busy loading the delivery van. The employee had left the key in the ignition lock when a stranger stole the car and drove away towards Bahnhofplatz.

Surprisingly, the police discovered the stolen car on Eckenhagener Strasse, but the driver, a 16-year-old from Gummersbach, quickly fled towards Sinspert. The police were finally able to stop the Corsa between Müllerheide and Sinspert. In addition to the driver, there was a 16-year-old and two 20-year-old from Reichshof in the vehicle. The car was packed with food that had previously been stolen from a health food store in Reichshof. In addition, the driver had a knife with him that the officials secured. During the investigation, it turned out that the quartet was also behind a tank fraud at a gas station in Niederseßmar. The driver had to hand in a blood sample and was then handed over to his legal guardian. The investigation continues.
