Knife attack in tram: 46-year-old is 18-year-old!

In a shocking incident in a tram on Königsplatz, there was a threatening argument on Monday evening (February 24, 2025). A 46-year-old man was observed by witnesses how he threatened and insulted an 18-year-old with a knife. The alarmed police immediately arrived and was still able to arrest the aggressive attacker on the tram.

The officials not only found the knife for the man, but also four more knives and two scissors - everything secured! A breath alcohol test showed that the 46-year-old was significantly alcoholic with over 1.3 per thousand. During the arrest, he contracted minor injuries, but fortunately the young person injured was unharmed. Now the police have initiated an investigation into threats and insults against the man - the situation remains tense!
