Knife attack in the M2: 57-year-old injured at Alexanderplatz!

Mollstraße/Prenzlauer Allee, 10178 Berlin, Deutschland - Last night, a tram ride in Mitte experienced a cruel incident! A 57-year-old was attacked by an unknown man with a knife around 2:30 a.m. in the M2. The incident occurred at the Mollstraße/Prenzlauer Allee stop when the attacker suddenly appeared and began to scream out of nowhere.

When the injured man wanted to get out at Alexanderplatz, the stranger pulled his knife and added cuts to his arm while trying to ward off the attack. The attacker fled in an unknown direction. Alarmed police forces immediately provided first aid before the rescue workers brought the 57-year-old to the hospital for inpatient treatment. Fortunately, there is no danger to life. The investigation is underway and are managed by a specialized commissioner of police department 1 (north).
