Shots at school in Wuppertal: Police investigated due to violence!

In a shocking incident in Wuppertal-Barmen, the public prosecutor and the police are investigating for attempted dangerous bodily harm and weapons law violations. On April 9, 2025, the headmaster of a comprehensive school reported that two window panes of the school were probably damaged by bullets. Police officers found shot -like damage on site and found a 10 mm steel ball near one of the damaged windows.

The investigation gave indications that the shots have been given from one of the opposite residential buildings. During a search of the apartment of a 39-year-old, the officers discovered a whipped ring, two one-handed knives, four stimulus sprayers and a 9mm firearm cartridge. Whether this man is responsible for the incident at the school remains unclear and is the subject of ongoing investigations.
